Abstract
An apparatus for inspecting articles comprising movement means to continuously move articles along a path past a single inspection point (140), a plurality of cameras (134, 136, 138) each arranged to substantially simultaneously obtain an image of each article substantially at the time it reaches the inspection point and processing means to review the images taken by the cameras to accept or reject each article and to control conveyance of each article to an accepted or rejected position.
