Definitions
- Non-lethal riot control weapons have as their working principle compressed air or rubber projectile gun cartridges. Typically, these weapons are of the single shot or repetition type. However, despite the denomination, the aforementioned nonlethal weapons, in certain contexts, have generated casualties among civilian citizens there including serious injuries, including deaths. This is explained by the fact that compressed air guns exert single firing pressure, so that one person at five meters distance receives the same impact from another person at fifty meters, that is, with a much higher intensity, therefore, higher. likely to be severely injured.
- a firearm is nothing more than an artifact for projectile propulsion, by expanding gases from the controlled burning of a propellant, more specifically the powder contained in a closed chamber, except for the barrel leading the projectile.
- non-lethal riot control devices such as the MU 6600494-2 comprises a defense and attack weapon for the exclusive use of civil and military police corporations, which is a manufactured cylindrical rod. made of high-strength wood fitted with one end.of a first symmetrical circular grip or grooves and provided on one side with a flat hexagonal base with a bore or cylindrical cavity, where the cylindrical end is coupled perpendicularly by introduction, gluing and screwing smaller diameter or cut-out pin of a cylindrical handle or second handle, made of high-strength wood and fitted with symmetrical circular grooves, consisting of two right angles between the rod and handle, which are coated with rubber or plastic material, described coupling of the cable to the rod at a height corresponding to one quarter of the length the baton being the defensive and offensive baton used in street riots, in defense against all types of melee weapon, nuntchacos and firearms, at close range, allowing the user police officer to make impact with it, under high speed,
- the claimed system has software embedded with a data composed by the appropriate firing pressures taking into account the distance between the target and the weapon, provided with space designator, be it, as already commented, optical, sound, laser or thermal.
- the software sends a signal to the valve responsible for releasing the gun's compressed air at the exact intensity so that the projectile reaches the target with sufficient potential energy to contain it without further damage.

- Figure 2 Schematic view of the invented system applied to any weapon simulating use
- FIG. 1 Operational flowchart showing the operating steps of the system applied to any weapon.
- the "NON-DETAILED GUN SHOOTING REGULATORY SYSTEM”, the subject of this patent application, consists essentially of a system (s) which can be applied to any type or model of non-lethal compressed air weapon (1) having a distance designator (2) that measures the distance to the target (3) and feeds the embedded software database (4) to the ratio of the target distances to the weapon (1) and the appropriate trigger pressure for that situation.
- the system (S) claimed to be applied to non-lethal compressed air weapons (1) is based on the computational control of the firing pressure thanks to an embedded software (4) equipped with a distance parameterized database.
- target (3) relative to weapon (1) resulting in firing pressure appropriate for that situation.
- the weapon (1) has a distance designator (2) that telemetries the target (3) by optical, sound, laser or thermal technology, which according to the above database informs the oscillator (5) the pressure to be provided to the solenoid valve (6) which will propel the projectile with sufficient intensity not to cause further damage to the victim, the components of said system (S) being powered by rechargeable battery (7).
- the user assembles the weapon in a first step (E1), to in a second step (E2) activate the distance designator.
- the shooter points the weapon at the target so that said designator encounters the target.
- the designator reads the target against the weapon and sends this information to the software.
- such information is evaluated, provided it is not less than five meters or more than one hundred meters, it captures in the database the pressure required for that distance by operating the oscillator / solenoid valve.
- the present system proposes absolutely new pressure control capabilities for non-lethal compressed air weapons via software, distance designator and solenoid valve / oscillator, providing a solution to the negative and unwanted effects of conventional weapons already heavily exposed. therefore meriting such patent application.
