Abstract

본 발명은 O-아세틸호모세린 설피드릴라아제(O-acetylhomoserine sulfhydrylase)의 활성을 가지는 신규 단백질, 이의 변이형 단백질, 이들을 암호화하는 폴리뉴클레오티드, 상기 폴리뉴클레오티드를 포함하는 재조합 벡터, 상기 재조합 벡터로 형질전환된 미생물, 및 상기 단백질을 이용하여 메치오닌 또는 아세트산을 생산하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 생산방법은 기존의 방법보다 높은 전환율 및 반응시간 단축을 통하여 경제적으로 L-메치오닌 및 아세트산을 생산할 수 있는 이점이 있으며, 상기 변이형 단백질을 이용하는 경우 효소 파쇄액의 투입량을 최소화하여 L-메치오닌 및 아세트산을 고수율로 용이하게 생산할 수 있다.
