This invention relates to a mechanism which enables panel doors to move angularly and linearly and where the two different movement figures can be applied on the same model.
The said invention relates to lock mechanisms which enable the panel doors to move linearly on y-axis and axially (angularly) on x-axis. A repulsion socket is found on the said panel door which enables the door to lock on y-axis. The said invention is also related to an eccentric locking device equipped with a lock bolt pin which enables the rotation and a lock bolt connected to the lock socket on the panel door. Background of the Invention
As it is well known, panel doors are structures used in cupboard covers and doors used for several purposes. Generally, panel doors with large structure which are described as sliding doors have two different models which are equipped with linear and angular movements. Linear movement panels used in the existing technique occupy less space when compared to angular movement systems since the panel opens linearly. Thus, it is advantageous in confined spaces. It is easily opened with less effort. Loss of energy is low during opening and closing (for use in heating-cooling-greenhouse purposes). The disadvantages of linear movement panels can be described as follows: It is not possible to clean the blind spots between two parallel panels which are beyond the reach of hand. Assembly and disassembly is difficult. During use, since the panel opening space is little during loading, it is difficult to perform loading. The module is not suitable for use by two people at the same time.
The cleaning of the panels is easy in angular movement panels. Assembly and disassembly is easy. During use, since the panel opening space is spacious during loading, it provides an advantage for loading.
The disadvantages of the angular movement panels can be described as follows: Since the panel functions angularly, it uses much more space when compared to linear movement panels. It is not suitable for use in confined spaces. The probability of slamming and accidents is higher. The risk of accident is high when the panel opens or closes. The loss of energy is high during opening and closing (for use in heating-cooling-greenhouse purposes).

As specified in the abstract section of this application of yours; hangar door which opens by folding sideways are structured by connecting the door panels to each other and to the bearing support profiles with double-sided hinges and by means of at least one power-wing used for folding the door panels in the desired spot. The door panels are folded side by side on any spot over the door opening to be vertical to the axis of lower and upper tracks by means of engine power or manually. In addition, the switch mechanism installed behind the door panels enables for the uprightness of the door panels.
Another application is the application nr. TR2009/05409. 9.2 Lock bolt Detailed Description of the Invention
The invention relates to lock mechanisms which enable the panel doors (11 ) to move linearly on y-axis and axially (angularly) on x-axis. A repulsion socket (9.1 ) is found on the said panel door (11 ) which enables the door to lock on y-axis. The said invention is also related to an eccentric locking device (9) equipped with a lock bolt pin (13) which enables the rotation and a lock bolt (9.2) connected to the lock socket (4.1 ) on the panel door (11 ).
The invention includes a v block (9.3) which enables the eccentric locking device (9) to rotate to the desired angle, a hub pin (10) which enables the said eccentric locking device (9) to rotate and a shaft bearing (9.4) where this pin (10) is located, at least one locking plate (4) which has a lock socket (4.1 ) where the lock bolt (9.2) is located in to enable the locking function of the said lock bolt (9.2), connectors (5) which enable the assembly of the said locking plate (4) to the upper profile (1 ), a wing (2) fixed onto the said upper profile (2) and a side profile (3).
The mounting hole (6.1 ) of the panel slide profile (6) where the eccentric locking device (9) in question is placed contains a minimum of one axial motion bearing (6.2) which provides the axial movement of the eccentric locking device (9) in the said mounting hole (6.1 ) , a lock bolt (9.2) on the panel upper profile (1 ), a minimum of one magnet (8) securing the v-block (9.3) to remain stabilized at any desired position and an observation opening (18) formed on top of a panel upper profile (12) which allows to see whether the said eccentric locking device (9) is on locked or unlocked position.
Linear opening and closing process of the panel (11 ) is possible when its symbol is visible through the observation opening (18) on the panel upper profile (12). Under these circumstances; linear movements in left or right directions is accomplished by pushing forward the roller track disks (7) on the panel bolt profile (12) along the upper profile slide canals.
Angular opening of the left panel; when the panel door (11 ) is slid up to the last fulcrum horizontally towards the hinge rotation axis, the eccentric locking device (9) faces its housing on the upper profile (meaning it is angularly ready). Since no other part of the panel faces other components as such, panels do not open outwards in any way. When it is forced to be opened out of the position indicated in figure 4-c, the lock bolt pin turns the eccentric locking device (9) 60" around the hub pin (10). In the meanwhile, the panel starts to open angularly. It gets the eccentric locking device (9) to pop into its housing on the upper profile and restricts the panel's movements in left or right directions (meaning it effects the panel's linear movements.) Thus it ensures that the angular opening of the panel is carried out at a safe position (figure 6).
As indicated in figure-3, the hinge axial enables opening and closing the panel door (1 1 ) by angular movements on x- axis. This process is enabled through hinge pin (14), retaining pin (15) spring retainer (16) and connectors (17). As a result of the panel door being moved to x- axis and housed in the lock housing (4.1 ) on the lock bolt (9.2), the hinge pin (14) is bore in the hinge spring retainer (16) by pulling the panel door (1 1 ) in the opposite direction of a-direction and establishes position for axial movement. Therefore the axial movement of the panel door (1 1 ) on x-axis is enabled. The eccentric locking device (9) is rotated on the hub pin (10). Since this rotational movement will be performed by a repulsion movement on the repulsion socket (9.1 ), it causes a movement that is off the axis. Consequently, placing the lock bolt (9.2) into the socket by passing a greater distance is simplified. This enables the panel to open and close at a certain level of tightness. This tightness reaches the peak point at the 0°-30 ° of the locking device's (9) 0 -60° movement. Then it releases gradually (figure 8-a and 8-b).
The lock bolt completes the 60° movement right afte r the panel opens. While the panel recloses, it has to constantly remain at this final position in order to ensure locking. Otherwise it will not close since it does not fit in. Thus, the position of the lock bolt has been stabilized with a magnet (8) in order to stabilize the v-block of the locking device (9) at this position on the panel upper profile (12) (figures 6/7). The v-block (9.3) restricts the eccentric locking device (8) to rotate within 0°-60°angle range.
The left panel closing angularly: When the panel is closed inwards, the lock bolt (9.2) is placed in the lock socket (4.1 ) on the panel upper profile (12). However it is not fully closed yet. Because of the lock bolt's eccentric form, it goes over its movement between 0°- 30" at certain intensity. When this is applied, a nice level of tightness is achieved. Since the eccentric locking devices is set free out of its socket on the upper profile, the panel can move linearly in left or right directions. Upon closing this movement, the observation opening on the panel upper profile can be looked through to see whether the symbol is locked (figure 6/8-a/8-b).
