Abstract

The invention relates to a method for increasing the energy efficiency in charging processes of accumulators of electric vehicles by means of a charging device, and to an associated charging device and a corresponding element vehicle. In order to permit charging processes of electric vehicles with increased energy efficiency, a solution is proposed in which waste heat of the charging device which comes about during the charging process is fed to the electric vehicle for the purpose of heating the accumulators.
