Abstract

The present invention relates to a bed for transferring patients, in which guide rails are arranged at a predetermined spacing on the bed which is currently being used for the sole purpose of carrying a patient, a plurality of casters is attached at a predetermined spacing to a lower end of a bed plate, and auxiliary guide rails are arranged for rotating fall-protection bars for a patient, which are mounted on either side of the bed, between a prone position and a standing position, and for fixing the fall-protection bars, so as to enable the convenient transfer of a patient who cannot move freely to another bed. The fall-protection bars and the auxiliary guide rails rotate and are set to a prone position, and the bed plate having casters is guided by the guide rails and the auxiliary guide rails when transferring the patient who cannot move freely to another bed, thereby improving convenience in transferring the patient.
