Description

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CREATING ONLINE DATABASE OF
ENTERTAINMENT TALENTS
FIELD OF INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of entertainment industries. Particularly the present invention provides a method and system for talents' profile accessing. More particularly, the present invention provides a method and system for creating online database of entertaining talents through distribution of prepaid talent registration scratch cards via dkect mdirect onJine/offline channels.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] India is a country that lives, breathes and loves entertainment. From venerating its stars, to supporting the arts, an inherent love for entertainment is woven into the warp and weft of this diverse nation, binding its innumerable people with a common aspiration. From a six year old to a sixty year old everyone is dreaming of becoming a star.
[0003] Artists who participate in performing arts in front of an audience are called performers, including actors, comedians, radio personalities, dancers, musicians, and singers, sports persons, commonly referred to as 'talent'. The performing arts include such fields as movies, films and cinematography, live theater productions, dance performances, television performances, television and other audiovisual advertising, radio, modeling, musical performances, games, matches and the like.
[0004] The entertainment industry (also informally known as show business or show biz) consists of a large number of sub-industries devoted to entertainment. In the entertainment industry and others involving performing arts, talent can make their talent and profile available online to the public and those who seek talents, and wherein the talents can profit from the display of their profile in a plurality of manners. It is of course necessary for those who are in the business of enlisting the services of performing artists' services, referred to generally herein as "talent l seeker," to procure the services of talents. Similarly, it is necessary for performing artists to make themselves known to and available to these talent seekers.
[0005] Finding the right talent at the right time in the right location to meet the need of specific occasion is a major challenge for most talent seekers because the process of identifying new talents is inefficient, time-consuming, and costly. The same is true from a talent's perspective as finding the right chance at the right time is also a significant challenge for most talents because the process of matching a talents' unique set of talent is inefficient, time consuming and costly. The proliferation of web-based technology for talent identification has expanded talent seekers' and talents' ability to find each other, but it has made the process of identifying and matching increasingly complicated.

Further, the present systems for collecting, storing and displaying the talents may have ad hoc way to access the system, and may not able to provide the quality talents list, as it may have the option of free enlisting. The known systems may not provide the contact details of talents, thus the talent seekers may not able to directly contact the talents. Lack of such information in a timely, concise, central repository with other key information puts the onus on the talent seekers to surf unwanted information and come to a final conclusion, which may be laborious and frustrating process. Further, these systems collects the talents database mostly online, hence it may not able to provide the access of talents from rural areas.
[0007] Thus, there exists a need to develop a method and system not only for creating online database of entertaining talents, but also collecting, storing and displaying the talents, and also to have controlled access to the talent seekers. The method and system should also meet the need of the people by providing them with accurate and authentic information on various activities/persons/services associated with the entertainment industry. Further, the method and system should not only have the capability to collect the profile data from the rural areas, but should also allow the talents to register in the online system without the knowledge of web. Further, the method and system should also allow the talents and talent seekers to view each other's profile and contact details of talents and talent seekers, so as to enable the talents and talent seekers make informed objective decision without un-necessarily & ad hoc interruption from the talent agencies and talent website providers.
