Insbesondere der hohe PE-Anteil im Stanzgitter der Restfolie nach Abschluss des Tiefziehens erweist sich hierbei als problematisch. Eine übliche auf eine PET-Schicht auflaminierte PE-Schicht weist eine Dicke von etwa 40-60 pm auf. Selbst bei einer insgesamt etwa 1 mm starken Verbundfolie enthält das Stanzgitter der Restfolie, welches zu Recyclingzwecken vermählen wird, somit 4 % PE, bei entsprechend dünneren Verbundfolien auch bis zu 12 %. Wird ein derartiges Mahlgut in den Produktionsprozess der Verbundfolie zurückgespeist, was an sich wünschenswert ist, so wird die produzierte PET-Schicht vollständig milchig und verliert ihre Transparenz. Verpackungsschale (1 ), hergestellt aus einer tiefgezogenen Kunststofffolie mit einem Boden (10), Seitenwänden (1 1) und einem oberseitig der Seitenwände (1 1) umlaufenden Siegelrand (12), auf den eine Siegelfolie (2) auflegbar und mit dem Siegelrand (12) verschweißbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verpackungsschale (1) aus einer ersten Kunststofffolie und die Siegelfolie aus einer zweiten Kunststofffolie hergestellt sind, welche Kunststofffolien unter Anwendung von Druck und Wärme nicht miteinander verschweißbar sind und die Verpackungsschale (1 ) nur im Bereich des oberseitig der Seitenwände (1 1) umlaufenden Siegelrandes (12) im mit der Siegelfolie (2) zu verschweißenden Bereich eine streifenartig umlaufende Beschichtung (3) aus einem mit der Siegelfolie (2) verschweißbaren Material aufgebracht ist. 1.
