Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de liquéfaction du gaz naturel dans lequel le gaz naturel est refroidi, condensé et sous refroidi par échange de chaleur indirect avec deux mélanges réfrigérants circulant dans les circuits (I) et (II). Un premier mélange réfrigérant est comprimé, refroidi et condensé au moins partiellement par échange de chaleur dans C1 avec un fluide extérieur. Le premier mélange réfrigérant est ensuite sous-refroidi par échange de chaleur dans C2, détendu puis partiellement ou totalement pour refroidir par échange de chaleur le gaz naturel et un deuxième mélange réfrigérant. Le deuxième mélange réfrigérant est comprimé, refroidi et condensé au moins partiellement par échange de chaleur dans C3 avec un fluide extérieur, puis refroidi dans le premier circuit (I) par échange de chaleur avec le premier mélange réfrigérant pour être ensuite détendu et permettre le refroidissement du gaz naturel, par échange de chaleur, jusqu'à sa liquéfaction. Le premier et le deuxième mélange réfrigérant comprennent au moins de l'éthylène.
