  • the devices 41 are packed together as a strip, wherein adjacent data storage devices are connected by a weakened line 42, which may for instance be a break line or tear line.

  • the tear lines are applied to the substrate which also acts as a covering element for the adhesive side of the devices 41 .
  • the electrical contacts 44 are located at the same side as the adhesive side.

  • the electrical contacts 57 are located at the side opposite to the self-adhesive are 55 (not visible from this point of view).
  • This configuration has the advantage that once the protective sheet 56 is removed adhesive 55 has a lower chance of spoiling the contacts 57 than the configuration shown in figure 5a.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de stockage de données portatif (1). L'invention concerne également un procédé d'application d'un dispositif de stockage de données à la surface d'un produit. L'invention concerne en outre un emballage comprenant de multiples dispositifs de stockage de données. Le dispositif de stockage de données de l'invention comprend un moyen autoadhésif (4) permettant une fixation réversible, semi-permanente ou permanente à la surface de divers produits, notamment de cartes postales, de cartes de visite et d'emballages de produits.
