Definitions
- the invention relates to a drive device according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
- the invention also relates to a piston pump according to the preamble of claim 11.
- piston pumps are often used.
- the advance of the piston is often carried out by means of a drive device which converts a manauelle rotational movement in a suitable translational thrust movement.
- this implementation is realized by means of spindles or racks or the like.
- the use of spindles or racks is particularly disadvantageous when using the drive device in bulk goods.
- spindles passing through spindles often sealing problems and is also the filling or refilling of the dispenser problematic, since here before filling the contents of the piston must first be moved back to its original position and thus there is a risk of air bubbles during filling.
- a drive device of the generic type is to be improved, while avoiding the mentioned problems of known devices, in such a way that it is very small and structurally very easy to implement and is especially suitable for use in bulk goods.
- piston pump is the subject of claim 11.
- a drive device for linear shock displacement of an object to be moved comprises a winding spool rotatably arranged in a drive housing, which is rotationally drivable by a drive cap rotatable relative to the drive housing.
- an elongated coil spring is provided which is attached at one end to the reel spool and by winding the reel spool can be unwound therefrom or unwound therefrom.
- a guide channel is provided, through which the coil spring extends and is led out of the drive housing.
- the winding spool and the drive cap are preferably rotatable about two mutually perpendicular axes and are kinematically coupled by means of meshing sprockets, wherein advantageously one of the sprockets is formed integrally with the drive cap and the other sprocket is integrally formed with a shaft rotatably mounted in the drive housing.
- the winding bobbin is provided at its periphery with a helical winding groove and slidably disposed in the longitudinal direction on a shaft and rotatably coupled to the shaft.
- the winding or unwinding process is organized and virtually frictionless.
- the guide channel opens out coaxially with the drive cap from the drive housing.
- the coil spring is wound so tightly that adjacent turns of the coil spring substantially abut each other when the coil spring is not wound up. This gives the coil spring in its longitudinal direction a sufficiently large (compressive) stiffness, which is suitable for the impact displacement of a linearly driven object.
- the drive housing it is particularly expedient for the drive housing to be fastened to one end of the pump tube, wherein the section of the helical spring protruding from the drive housing runs coaxially with the pump tube.
- the piston is provided with a matching to a fitting piece of the coil spring Zentriermulde which fixes the coil spring in its coaxial alignment, wherein the piston and coil spring are preferably coupled only to thrust.
- the piston pump is designed as a dispenser for a dispensed filling.
- a toothbrush attachment with a handle part and a brush part provided with bristles can be detachably fastened to the pump tube, the handle part having a supply channel through which toothpaste can be conveyed out of the pump tube into the region of the bristles.

- the drive cap 20 has on its inside an integrally molded pinion gear 22 which engages in the pinion or spur gear 12, so that by a Rotation of the drive cap 20, a rotation of the shaft 16 and thus finally the winding coil 14 is effected.

- the provided with the fitting piece 19 end of the coil spring 18 moves by the rotation of the drive cap 20 so linear coaxial with the drive housing 10.
- the reel spool 14 moves on the shaft 16 so that it is not too undesirable Deadlocks of the coil spring 18 may come within the drive housing.
- the coil spring 18 is tightly wound, wherein in the unwound state of the coil spring, the individual turns practically abut each other.
- the coil spring in its longitudinal direction has a relatively large (compressive) rigidity, which makes it suitable for the impact displacement of a linearly driven object.
- the inventive drive device is shown in use in a piston pump which forms a dispenser for a dispensed product. More specifically, the dispenser is part of a toothbrush with integrated paste dispenser.
- the designated as a whole with 30, designed as a piston pump (toothpaste) dispenser comprises a cylindrical pump tube 32, in which a piston 34 is arranged coaxially displaceable. In the space 36 above the piston 34 is in practical use the contents, in this example toothpaste.

- the drive housing 10 of the drive device is inserted into the lower end of the tube 32.
- the drive cap 20 is snapped with an annular bead 24 into an annular groove 33 of the tube 32 and thereby holds itself and the drive housing 10 firmly on or in the tube 32.
- a toothbrush attachment 40 is screwed with a handle part 41 and a brush part 43 equipped with bristles 42.
- the stem part 41 has a feed channel 44 which on the one hand communicates with the nozzle 38 in a communicating connection and on the other hand opens out in the region of the bristles 42.
- the filling or refilling of the dispenser 30 takes place when the toothbrush attachment 40 has not yet been mounted or removed.

- toothpaste is filled through the nozzle 38 into the tube 32, whereby the piston 34 moves to its lower stop.
- the toothbrush attachment 40 is (again) screwed onto the dispenser 30. Since the coil spring acting as a thrust member 18 is not connected to train with the piston 34, the piston can remain in its (upper) end position before filling. This in turn avoids the risk of air pockets during filling.
- the coil spring 18 is unwound until the fitting 19 comes into abutment against the piston 34.
- the piston 34 is provided with a form-fitting to the fitting piece 19 centering 35, which ensures that the coil spring 18 is held coaxially to the tube 32 and can not break out laterally.
- the drive cap 20 By further rotation of the drive cap 20, the coil spring 18 is now further extended and the piston 34 thereby displaced.
- toothpaste located above the piston 34 in the space 36 is in turn squeezed out through the nozzle 38 and conveyed via the feed channel 44 into the area of the bristles 42.
- the drive device according to the invention is not only suitable for moving pistons in piston pumps serving as paste dispensers or other dispensers, but can in principle be used wherever a reaction is required. nismatisch short-stroke linear feed is required, which requires no excessive shear forces.
- the inventive drive device can be structurally kept very small and is structurally less expensive and can be realized very cost, for example in plastic injection technology, so that it is ideally suited for use in mass-produced articles.
