Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour greffer une fonctionnalité silane ou silicone sur un élastomère de diène, comprenant la réaction de l'élastomère de diène avec un monomère insaturé (A) contenant une liaison oléfinique -C=C- ou une liaison acétylénique ‑C≡C- et un groupe fonctionnel réactif X avec un composé organosilicium (B) ayant un groupe fonctionnel Y qui est réactif avec le groupe fonctionnel X du monomère insaturé (A). Selon l'invention, le monomère insaturé (A) a la formule R"-CH=CH-Z (I) ou R"-C≡C-Z (II) dans laquelle Z représente un fragment électroattracteur contenant le groupe fonctionnel réactif X et R" représente un hydrogène ou un groupe ayant un effet électroattracteur ou un autre effet d'activation en ce qui concerne la liaison ‑CH=CH- ou ‑C≡C-. Selon un deuxième aspect de l'invention, le monomère insaturé (A') contient au moins deux groupes de formule R"-CH=CH-Z'- (III) ou R"-C≡C-Z'- (IV) dans laquelle Z' représente une liaison divalente ayant un effet électroattracteur en ce qui concerne la liaison ‑CH=CH- ou ‑C≡C-, et R" représente un hydrogène ou un groupe ayant un effet électroattracteur ou un autre effet d'activation en ce qui concerne la liaison ‑CH=CH- ou ‑C≡C-, et le groupe fonctionnel Y du composé organosilicium (B) est capable de réagir avec la liaison oléfinique ou acétylénique présente dans le groupe R"-CH=CH-Z'- (III) ou R"-C≡C-Z'- (IV). Une telle composition élastomère peut être utilisée pour produire des pneus avec une bonne résistance au roulement.
