Abstract

디지털 방송 송신기가 개시된다. 본 송신기는, 서로 다른 제1 및 제2 서비스 데이터를 포함하는 스트림을 구성하는 먹스부 및 익사이터부를 포함한다. 여기서, 익사이터부는, 제1 서비스 데이터가 제1 바디, 제1 헤드 및 제1 테일을 이루고, 제2 서비스 데이터가 제2 바디, 제2 헤드 및 제2 테일을 이루며, 제1 서비스 데이터 및 제2 서비스 데이터의 경계 부분에서는 제1 헤드 또는 제1 테일이 제2 테일 또는 제2 헤드와 맞물리는 형태가 되도록 스트림을 인터리빙할 수 있으며, 이 때, 제2 서비스 데이터의 적어도 일부는 LDPC 코딩 또는 터보 코딩하고, 나머지 부분은 TCM 코딩할 수 있다.
