Abstract
본 발명은 낮은 센싱 정밀도를 갖는 터치 입력부를 이용하더라도 정점 검출을 위한 사용자의 인터렉션을 최소화하여 정점 검출 시간을 단축하고 정확도가 높게 정점을 검출할 수 있는 영상의 정점 검출 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 영상의 정점 검출 방법은 영상의 정점 위치를 입력받는 단계; 상기 입력된 정점 위치를 포함하는 관심영역(ROI)을 설정하고, 상기 관심영역 내의 영상으로부터 복수의 에지를 검출하는 단계; 상기 복수의 에지에 기초하여 최적의 정점을 검출하기 위한 후보 직선군을 검출하는 단계; 및 상기 후보 직선군 중에서 설정된 기준 후보직선과의 사이각이 임계 각도 미만인 상기 후보 직선을 제거한 후, 상기 기준 후보직선과 잔류 후보 직선의 교점 위치와 상기 입력된 정점 위치 간의 거리가 최소인 교점을 최적의 정점으로 검출하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어진다.
