Abstract

A steering torque and steering wheel detecting apparatus is disclosed, the apparatus including a stator disposed inside a case, a magnet disposed at the inner part of the stator, a torque sensing unit detecting steering torque by sensing a magnetic field occurring between the stator and the magnet, and a steering angle sensing unit disposed at a certain gap with the magnet to produce a steering angle signal according to a rotation of the magnet. Thereby reducing a component number, simplifying a manufacturing process and saving a production cost.
