- the outer peripheral side of the rear end portion 23B of the outer shell is recessed more than the outer peripheral surface of the front and rear outer skins, and the annular recess 51 is formed.
- the outer peripheral surface of the outer end portion 23B of the outer skin is connected to the middle portion 23C via a tapered step portion 23F which constitutes a side wall surface of the annular recess 51.
- the adhesive 43 is filled in the inside of the annular recess 51 (that is, on the outer peripheral side of the rear end 23B of the outer skin), and the thread member 42 is embedded in the adhesive 43. Further, a ring member 44 is fitted on the outer peripheral side of the rear end 23B so as to close the annular recess 51 and to cover the adhesive 43.
- the ring member 44 is formed in a thin annular shape in which the inner diameter and the outer diameter are substantially constant.
- the ring member 44 is adhesively fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the threadlike member 42 and the skin rear end portion 23B via the adhesive 43 filled in the annular recess 51.
- the thread-like member 42 is completely embedded inside adhesive. As a result, contact between the threadlike member 42 and the inner peripheral surface of the ring member 44 is prevented.
- the adhesive 43 filled inside the annular recess 51 also penetrates between the tip of the ring member 44 and the step 23F. That is, the tip end portion of the ring member 44 is in contact with the stepped portion 23 F via the adhesive 43 and is bonded to the stepped portion 23 F by the adhesive 43.
- the rear end portion of the ring member 44 is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the distal end portion 29A of the flexible portion shell 29.
- the adhesive 43 inside the annular recess 51 partially enters the outer periphery of the tip 29A, and the rear end of the ring member 44 is also bonded to the tip 29A by the adhesive 43.
- the curved portion outer shell 23 is put on the curved portion 13 and a part of the endoscope tip portion 14, and the outer shell tip portion 23A is fitted into the annular groove 14D of the endoscope tip portion 14. .
- the thread-like member 32 is wound around the outer periphery of the shell tip 23A a plurality of times, thereby fixing the shell tip 23A to the endoscope tip 14.
- a liquid or fluid adhesive 33 is applied to the outer peripheral surface of the outer skin tip 23A from above the thread member 32.
- the adhesive 33 is applied so as to straddle the large diameter portion 14B of the endoscope distal end portion 14, the outer skin distal end portion 23A, and the step portion 23D.
- the ring member 34 is attached to the outer periphery of the large diameter portion 14B of the endoscope tip portion 14, and thereafter, the ring member 34 is moved backward until it abuts on the step 23D. . Thereby, as shown in FIG. 7, the ring member 34 is fitted to the outside of the outer skin tip 23A.
- the adhesive 33 is applied to a larger volume than the gap between the ring material 34 and the endoscope tip 14. Therefore, when the ring member 34 is fitted, the entire gap between the ring member 34 and the endoscope tip 14 is filled with the adhesive, and no air bubble is generated inside the ring member 34.
- the adhesive 33 fills the gap between the large diameter ring portion 34B and the shell tip portion 23A, and bonds the large diameter ring portion 34B to the outer peripheral surface of the thread member 32 and the shell tip portion 23A. Further, it also enters between the small diameter ring portion 34A and the large diameter portion 14B, and adheres the small diameter ring portion 34A to the large diameter portion 14B. The adhesive 33 further penetrates between the rear end surface of the large diameter ring portion 34B and the step 23D, and bonds the rear end surface of the large diameter ring portion 34B to the step 23D.
- the method for fixing the outer end portion 23B of the outer skin to the connection pipe and further fitting the ring member 44 is the same as the method described above, and thus the description thereof is omitted.
- the ring member 44 is attached to the outer peripheral side of the flexible portion 12 and disposed behind the connection tube 30. Then, after the adhesive is applied, the ring member 44 is moved forward until the tip end portion thereof abuts on the step portion 23FD, and is fitted on the outer periphery of the outer end portion 23B.
- a portion i.e., the middle portion 23C
- the ring member 44 is moved from the front side and fitted. Because it is difficult to unite.
- the adhesives 33 and 43 for embedding and protecting the threadlike members 32 and 42 are covered by the ring members 34 and 44 and hardly exposed to the outer periphery of the endoscope, adhesion is achieved. It is prevented that the agents 33 and 43 are deteriorated by the chemical solution. Therefore, the durability of the endoscope can be maintained at a good level without increasing the thickness of the adhesive 33, 43 so much, and the adhesive 33, 43 can be prevented from falling off.
- the shapes of the adhesive inside the ring members 34 and 44 become uniform when the ring members 34 and 44 are fitted.
- the workability and yield of manufacturing the endoscope can be improved.
- the ring members 34 and 44 when the ring members 34 and 44 are fitted to the end portions 23A and 23B, the ring members 34 and 44 may be moved until they abut on the step portions 23D and 23F. 44 can be placed in a fixed position. Furthermore, since the ring member 33 fitted to the outer shell tip 23A is provided with the small diameter ring 34A to be fitted to the endoscope tip 14, it is more stably fixed to the outer periphery of the outer shell tip 23A It can be done.
- the inner circumferential surfaces of the ring members 34 and 44 may be roughened, or may be provided with irregularities by threading or the like. Further, the portion covered by the small diameter ring portion 34A on the outer peripheral surface of the large diameter portion 14B may also be roughened. That is, the surfaces of the ring members 34 and 44, the tip portion 14 of the endoscope, and the like in contact with the adhesive may be roughened or uneven. According to such a configuration, the anchor effect makes it possible to enhance the adhesion of the adhesive 33, 43 to the ring members 34, 44.
