Abstract
A device (1) for converting solar radiation to heat comprises : - a mirror (20,21) which in cross-section has the form of a parabola; and - a radiation absorption tube (22) through which heat transport medium can flow and which extends in the longitudinal direction of the mirror (20,21) through the focal point of the parabolic cross-section. The mirror (20,21) comprises two mirror parts (20,21) which are each mounted on either side for pivoting around an axis extending in longitudinal direction on a mirror carrier. The mirror parts (20,21) are pivotable about a pivot axis between an operative position and a rest position in which the mirror parts (20,21) are pivoted toward each other with their reflective surfaces such that the mirror (20,21) is folded down.
