Abstract

A facility for an electric utility such as an electric pole mars the appearance of a city, prevents the efficient use of spaces in a city, and is a main factor that threatens the safety of citizens. Provided is an underground container system for an electric utility. The container system comprises: an underground box that is buried under the ground and has closed lateral and bottom sides and an upper side at which a portion can be opened like a manhole, a movable unit that moves an electric utility box from inside the underground box to the outside through the open portion at the upper side of the underground box, and a cover that seals up the open portion in a state that the electric utility box is placed inside the underground box. Therefore, the facility for an electric utility such as an electric pole may disappear into the ground.
