Abstract
A photovoltaic panel includes a photovoltaic module having at least one photovoltaic cell and a frame with two keying flanges surrounding the module. Each keying flange having a mating surface defined thereon. Electrodes are mounted on each keying flange. One keying flange has a latching feature thereon while the other keying flange has a latching recess. The flanges are positioned on a panel such that movement of the mating surface on the one flange of a first panel into mating engagement with the mating surface on the other flange of a second panel causes the latching feature on the first panel to deflect into snapping engagement with the latching recess on the second panel so that the panels snap-together.
