  • the device may advantageously be used with either a chemical or non-chemical solution for any one of the following applications.
  • the device may be used for similar applications as a roller, permanent wave roller, semi-permanent wave roller or perming roller.
  • the device and method may be used for permanent waving, adding permanent movement to hair, adding texture to hair, creating shape in hair, creating curls in hair, adding body to hair, or for changing the surface of the hair.
  • the hair shaping device and method may be used in combination with any one of the following hair styling items: colouring foils, perm papers, materials, styling products, and paper.
  • the formation of the hair into shaped curls may be permanent, semi-permanent or temporary, depending upon the hair styling process applied to set the hair into shape.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne des dispositifs et des procédés de coiffage des cheveux destinés à modeler et à coiffer la chevelure. Une caractéristique de l’invention fournit un dispositif de modelage de la chevelure (1) comportant un élément (2) présentant une paire de surfaces orientées à l'opposé (3) et une bande incurvée (8) reliant les bords périphériques des surfaces. L’élément présente une paire de parties d’extrémité curvilignes (5, 6), chacune étant située à des extrémités respectives d’une tige allongée (7). Le dispositif de modelage des cheveux comporte également un moyen de fixation pouvant être amené en prise avec des parties à crochet (13, 14) se trouvant sur l’élément (2) afin de bloquer les cheveux sur le corps du dispositif. Une autre caractéristique de l’invention fournit un procédé de modelage des cheveux par l’application d’un tel dispositif.
