Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein goniolumineszentes Sicherheitselement (1) sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines solchen, welches vorzugsweise als Sicherheitsdokument ausgebildet ist. Das Sicherheitselement (1) umfasst ein erstes Element (3) und ein das erste Element (3) zumindest teilweise überlappendes zweites Element (5), wobei das zweite Element (5) einer Betrachtungsseite (4) des Sicherheitselements (1) zugewandt ist, wobei das erste Element (3) erste Lumineszenzmittel umfasst und das zweite Element (5) mindestens eine optische Interferenzstruktur umfasst, die in einem ausgezeichneten Wellenlängenbereich (14) ein orientierungsabhängiges Transmissionsvermögen (11, 12) und/oder Reflexionsvermögen (11, 12) aufweist, wobei das erste Element (3) und das zweite Element (5) so aufeinander abgestimmt sind, dass bei einer Betrachtung während einer Anregung einer Lumineszenz der Lumineszenzmittel abhängig von einer Orientierung der Betrachtung und/oder einer Richtung einer Einstrahlung eines Anregungslichts durch das zweite Element (5) eine optische Veränderung wahrnehmbar ist, wobei die mindestens eine Interferenzstruktur im ausgezeichneten Wellenlängenbereich bei genau einer Orientierung oder in einem begrenzten Orientierungsbereich ihr Transmissionsvermögen und/oder Reflexionsvermögen ändert.
