Abstract

Les communications numériques sans fil impliquant un dispositif mobile sont améliorées dans des emplacements problématiques pour prolonger les connexions d’un dispositif mobile marginal et pour éviter les appels abandonnés en améliorant proactivement le rapport signal-bruit. Le rapport signal-bruit peut être augmenté en réduisant le débit de transmission de données de diverses manières. De telles actions peuvent être entreprises lorsque l’emplacement actuel d’un dispositif mobile se trouve dans un emplacement problématique connu et/ou qu’une caractéristique du signal reçu par le dispositif mobile est problématique. Des actions similaires peuvent également être entreprises pour économiser la batterie lorsque la charge de batterie restante chute en dessous d’un critère prédéfini.
