Abstract

L'invention concerne un bateau de forage servant à mettre en oeuvre des opérations sous-marines, y compris des opérations d'intervention, de maintenance et de reconditionnement. Le bateau comprend une coque qui présente un rapport largeur-longueur sensiblement élevé et comporte un espace de pont. Un système automatisé de manipulation de tubes et de colonnes montantes est monté sur l'espace de pont ainsi qu'un système de support de tubes. L'espace de pont comprend une grue de charges lourdes à compensation de pilonnement pour mettre en œuvre des opérations de fond de mer, et une grue moyenne montée sur l'espace de pont. Le bateau est conçu pour effectuer des opérations de construction sous-marine de charges lourdes, y compris des programmes d'intervention et de reconditionnement de puits de colonne montante de 16 pouces, des opérations de complétion de colonnes montantes reliées ainsi que des opérations de forage de trou de toit sans colonne montante et des opérations de tubage. Le bateau peut aussi mettre en œuvre un forage de renforcement de colonnes montantes reliées et une construction de puits de filiforage. Le bateau permet de maximiser l'efficacité environnementale à la fois lors de la construction et de l'utilisation, et assure un environnement de vie et de travail sûr et stable pour le personnel exploitant.
