Abstract

Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Brennkraftmaschine (11) unter Umwandlung von thermischer Abgasenergie in mechanische Leistung, bei welchem Wärme aus dem Abgasstrom der Brennkraftmaschine (11) auf das Medium eines geschlossene Dampfkraftprozesses unter Erzeugung von überhitztem Dampf übertragen wird, wobei die im Dampfkraftprozess gewonnene mechanische Leistung einer Arbeitsmaschine zugeführt wird, wobei die Wärme dem Abgas primär vor dem Eintritt in Einrichtungen (19) zur Abgasnachbehandlung entzogen und auf das Medium des Dampfkraftprozesses übertragen wird.
