Abstract
The present invention relates to an apparatus for guiding exhibits, comprising a communication module which receives tag information from the active zigbee tag located in a coverage area from among a plurality of active zigbee tags which are installed in the respective exhibits to transmit tag information in every 1 cycle; a memory unit in which guide information for each of the active zigbee tags is stored; an output unit which outputs the guide information in an audio or video format; and a control module which receives, via the communication module, tag information from the active zigbee tags located in the coverage area during a second cycle, classifies the received tag information per active zigbee tag, selects, as candidates, the active zigbee tags which have transmitted tag information the number of times more than a predetermined number of time and which have receiving signal intensities of tag information higher than a predetermined level, calculates the average value of the tag information receiving signal intensities of the candidate active zigbee tags, selects the active zigbee tag having the highest average value as an object for providing guide service, and read the guide information corresponding to the selected active zigbee tag from the memory unit and output the read guide information to the output unit.
