Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un pilote (10) destiné à allumer un flux de fluide combustible. Le pilote comprend une entrée (12), destinée à recevoir un combustible gazeux (14), comprenant un mélange combustible et air/oxygène, dans le pilote. Un moyen d'allumage (16), par exemple un dispositif d'allumage à étincelle ou une électrode d'allumage, est utilisé pour allumer le combustible gazeux (14). Un conduit globalement annulaire (18) est ouvert le long d'une étendue annulaire formant une ouverture circonférentielle (20). Le conduit (18) achemine le combustible gazeux de l'entrée vers l'ouverture circonférentielle. Lorsque le combustible gazeux s'écoulant hors de l'ouverture circonférentielle (20) est allumé, une flamme pilote annulaire continue est générée radialement au conduit.
