The invention relates to a rechargeable battery, comprising at least two rechargeable battery modules, wherein at least one switch device for connecting and/or disconnecting at least one first and/or one second rechargeable battery module as a function of required and/or available currents and/or voltages of the rechargeable battery, to a method, to a computer program product, to a mobile electronic device, to a vehicle, and to a wind power plant.
