Abstract

Les modes de réalisation de l'ensemble orthèse permettant de lutter contre l'hyperextension utilisent une sangle transversale fixée à un élément de montage autour d'une articulation pour limiter de façon progressive, en fournissant une résistance, l'extension des membres autour d'une articulation. L'ensemble sangle transversale est positionné à partir d'un point d'origine transversal derrière l'articulation jusqu'à des points de fixation sur un élément de montage supérieur et inférieur sur des parties de membres supérieurs et inférieurs et fournit une force de résistance à la traction qui limite l'extension de l'élément de montage et des membres. Dans des modes de réalisation pour une articulation du genou, l'ensemble orthèse fournit une force de résistance progressive destinée à résister à une hyperextension du genou. Les modes de réalisation de l'ensemble peuvent s'adapter à différentes articulations, à différentes tailles du porteur de l'ensemble et à différents réglages de tension, tels que pour des athlètes durant une compétition. Les modes de réalisation de l'orthèse peuvent être utilisés de façon bilatérale et peuvent être réalisés sans renfort métallique afin de se conformer aux exigences de certains sports.
