Abstract
A composite blade structure (10) for a rotodynamic assembly (4) comprises a composite blade portion (24) and an integrally formed composite flange portion (20) configured to permit the blade structure (10) to be secured to a rotor (12). In one disclosed arrangement the composite blade structure (10) is utilised on a tidal turbine assembly (2).
