Abstract

Disclosed are multiport valves for use with a gas-turbine configured for operation according to both Brayton-cycle and inverse-Brayton cycle, comprising movable valve members and at least five ports of which at least two inlet ports and at least two outlet ports: a compressor-outlet inlet port (152), an ambient inlet port (151), a heat-exchanger cold-stream inlet outlet port (162), an exhaust outlet port (163), and a fifth port.
