Abstract

The present invention relates to an integrated system for confirming the transmission of a broadcast and surveying audience ratings using a sequential code for each frame, and a method thereof. The system and method are able to integrate and process the data for the transmission confirmation and the audience ratings survey by comprising the steps of: allocating an information code and a sequential code for each frame to the broadcast and a frame and inserting those two codes into a certain portion of each frame; then sending the frames to a transmitter for transmission; then detecting the information code and the sequential code from a broadcasting signal; and then allowing one system to calculate the results for both the transmission confirmation and the audience ratings survey.
