It is also possible to acquire (understand) the change of.
- FIG. 4 is a sequence chart showing an example of the operation in the first embodiment of the present invention.
- the additional address allocation unit 103 of the network-side entity (AAA server 10) that performs access control includes an address A2 (for example, an address with a limited use band) as an additional address in the service network (service NW1) 50a, a service network ( As an additional address in the service NW2) 50b, an address B2 (for example, an address that can receive a service having the same quality as when a default address is used) and / or an address B3 (for example, a priority-controlled communication address) 40 is assigned (step S1102).
- an address A2 for example, an address with a limited use band
- an address B2 for example, an address that can receive a service having the same quality as when a default address is used
- / or an address B3 for example, a priority-controlled communication address
- the communication terminal 40 holds each assigned address in the address information holding unit 405 and receives a normal service (for example, a content distribution service from the service network (NW1) 50a) using the default address (step S1110). Similarly, the network-side entity (AAA server 10) that performs access control holds each address assigned to the communication terminal 40 in the address information holding unit 104.
- a normal service for example, a content distribution service from the service network (NW1) 50a
- NW1 service network
- the network-side entity (AAA server 10) that performs access control holds each address assigned to the communication terminal 40 in the address information holding unit 104.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of service contents associated with an address assigned to a communication terminal in the first embodiment of the present invention.
- the communication terminal 40 acquires the main address A1 (default address) that is normally used in the service network (service NW1) 50a.
- the communication terminal 40 additionally acquires an address A2 as an alternative address in the service network (service NW1) 50a. Since the communication terminal 40 normally registers a member in the service network (service NW1) 50a, the address A2, which is an additional address, is, for example, a service downgraded when a network failure occurs (forced handover to another access network) With the upper limit of the QoS parameter, or the possibility of being disconnected after a certain period of time). Therefore, when the address A2 is used, the communication terminal 40 receives a service (for example, use band limitation) whose service quality is lower than the service received using the address A1.
- a service for example, use band limitation
- restriction when using the address A2 it is desirable that the restriction when using the address A2 is shared in advance between the network side and the communication terminal 40. For example, a restriction when the address A2 is used may be notified from the network side to the communication terminal 40 at the time of address assignment, or the address configuration itself may be determined to have a specific use.
- the communication terminal 40 has acquired the main address B1 (default address) that is normally used in the service network (service NW2) 50b.
- the communication terminal 40 additionally acquires an address B2 as an alternative address in the service network (service NW2) 50b. Since the communication terminal 40 is registered with the qualification of an advanced member in the service network (service NW2) 50b, the address B2 is a service that maintains the quality even when a network failure occurs (for example, the quality is improved as a result of some priority control). Is the address provided). Therefore, when the address B2 is used, the communication terminal 40 can receive a service having the same quality as the service received using the address B1.
- the communication terminal 40 can receive a service having the same quality as the service received using the address B1, but when the address B2 is used, for example, there is a network failure. It is a situation that is occurring. Therefore, even if a service that maintains quality is provided from the network side, it is conceivable that some restriction (for example, an additional service cannot be requested) is set. In the case where there is a restriction when using the address B2, it is desirable that information regarding the restriction when using the address B2 is shared in advance between the network side and the communication terminal 40. For example, the restriction on the use of the address B2 at the time of address assignment may be notified from the network side to the communication terminal 40, or it may be determined that the address configuration itself is a specific application.
- the communication terminal 40 additionally acquires an address B3 as an inquiry address at the time of abnormality.
- This address B3 preferentially sends information on the network side to the communication terminal 40, for example, when notifying that it has become difficult to maintain the service even if the address B2 is used, or when presenting an alternative access network. Used when the routing entity preferentially forwards an inquiry from the communication terminal 40 to an entity on the network side. Note that it is desirable that the address B3 is assigned separately so that the information notification using the address B3 can be handled separately from the session providing the service.
- an additional address it can be used as an address where a higher priority service can be used.
- a preferentially used address that can be used by the communication terminal 40 at an arbitrary time point even if the network is not in a fault state may be acquired as an additional address.
- the upper limit of the communication bandwidth is set to be wider than that of the additional address, and priority communication can be performed by using the additional address.
- Such a function can be used, for example, when an ordinary member is given an address that can temporarily receive services for senior members (with restrictions on the period, etc.) and solicits membership for senior members. Available.
- the priority / non-priority treatment as described above may be set according to the type of service (service type) used, not the contract conditions of each user.
- the service type is a classification performed in terms of different uses of data communication such as normal / priority routing, billing, data / voice, and the like.
- the VoIP (voice) service is one of important services for the communication terminal 40, and is a service that is required to be isochronous without interruption. Therefore, an additional substitute address can be prepared so that the VoIP service can be preferentially maintained even when the situation on the network side changes.
- data upload service the amount of data from the communication terminal 40 toward the network is large
- for popular content a lot of access concentrates in a certain period
- Alternate addresses such as can be prepared.
- Both the network-side entity (AAA server 10) and the communication terminal 40 that perform access control correspond to the correspondence between the address of the communication terminal 40 and its service contents as shown in FIG. 5 (shown in FIG. 5).
- the address information holding units 104 and 406 hold each address information. Further, it is desirable that the network side entity (AAA server 10) holds the address correspondence relationship for each of a plurality of different communication terminals 40. Further, it is desirable that additional addresses (address A2 for address A1, address B2 and address B3 for address B1) are associated with and managed by default addresses (address A1 and address B1).
- the communication terminal 40 may specify the use of the address required by the communication terminal 40 when requesting an additional address.
- the communication terminal 40 may specify and request an emergency hotline address in the service network (service NW2) 50b as an additional address.
- the network-side entity (AAA server 10) that performs access control may assign only the emergency hotline address (the address B3) to the communication terminal 40 as an additional address, or at least the emergency The hotline address (above address B3) may be included as an additional address, and another additional address may be assigned together with the emergency hotline address (above address B3).
- the network-side entity (AAA server 10) that performs access control may assign an additional address to the communication terminal 40 as necessary even when there is no request for the additional address from the communication terminal 40. Good.
- the additional address processing unit 105 of the AAA server 10 determines the change to the address corresponding to the decrease in the use band based on the situation that the use band needs to be reduced (changed communication state), and The address to be selected is selected (step S1111). For example, when an address is assigned to the communication terminal 40 as shown in FIG. 5, the additional address processing unit of the AAA server 10 uses the address used by the communication terminal 40 instead of the address A1. The address A2 is selected. The change instruction to the address A2 is notified to the entity of the service network (service NW1) 50a as necessary (step S1112), and the destination address of the packet sent from the service network (service NW2) 50a toward the communication terminal 40 Is set to the address A2 (step S1113).
- the additional address use control unit 406 of the communication terminal 40 detects that the session of the service network (service NW1) 50a that has been addressed to the address A1 is changed to the address A2 (for example, the service network (service NW1) 50a), the packet processing setting is changed in response to a decrease in the bandwidth used, and information is notified to the lower layer block and the upper layer block.
- the packet changed to the address A2 is processed so as to be a packet from the service network (service NW1) 50a.
- the communication terminal 40 knows the usage (service content) supported by the address A2, and can accept the address change without making an inquiry to the network side.
- various communication parameters such as bandwidth, jitter, delay time, maximum packet size, routed routing entity, etc. can be considered as a change in the communication status that is the basis of the address change. Therefore, it is desirable that a plurality of addresses corresponding to the respective communication conditions are prepared instead of one alternative address. It is also desirable that the degree of change is divided into a plurality of stages. That is, it is desirable that alternative addresses are prepared according to how much each communication status is and how much service is provided. As a result, the communication terminal 40 can set more appropriate transmission / reception settings (buffer size, etc.).
- the priority address-controlled communication additional address can be used for preferential transfer of various service requests / notifications in addition to inquiries or notifications in an abnormal state.
- the additional address use control unit 406 of the communication terminal 40 controls to transmit the request using the address B3. .
- the packet having the address B3 as the source address is notified from the AAA server 10 so as to be preferentially transferred in the routing entity or handled as a packet preferentially processed in the service network.
- the request of the communication terminal 40 is processed with priority earlier than the request conditions of the other communication terminals 40.
