Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Neutronendosimeter mit einem Neutronenmoderator (12), einem ersten Strahlungsdetektor (14), der in dem Neutronenmoderator (12) angeordnet und von einem ersten Metallkörper (28) umgeben ist, der durch Neutronen aktivierbares Material enthält, einem zweiten Strahlungsdetektor (16), der in dem Neutronenmoderator (12) in unmittelbarer Nähe des ersten Strahlungsdetektors (14) angeordnet ist und von einem zweiten Metallkörper (30) umgeben ist, der durch Neutronen im Wesentlichen nicht aktivierbar ist, wobei der erste Metallkörper (28) und der zweite Metallkörper (30) so ausgebildet sind, dass sie im Wesentlichen die gleiche Absorption für Photonen haben, und einer Auswerteschaltung, die mit den Strahlungsdetektoren verbunden und eingerichtet ist, um von ionisierender Strahlung hervorgerufene elektrische Impulse mit einer Pulshöhe, die unterhalb einer vorgegebenen Pulshöhenschwelle liegt, zu unterdrücken.
