Abstract

A washing machine is disclosed. A washing machine includes a tub holding wash water, a drum rotatable within the tub to hold laundry, a first cabinet (100) defining a first space (100a) to wash laundry together with the tub and the drum, a second cabinet (200) defining a second space (200a) for an additional function, the second cabinet (200) formed as one body with the first cabinet (100), and a single partition (300) provided between the first and second cabinets (100, 200) to partition off the second space (200a) from the first space (100a).
