- FIG. 1 is a basic message flow diagram of a conventional one-number service causing a colorful bell, and describes a process in which an IMS calling party UE-A calls an IMS called UE-B, and the called UE-B opens a one-number service.
- the UE-B and the legacy terminal C are required to be called at the same time, and both the called UE-B and the legacy terminal C are enabled with the CRBT service.
- the CR-Ren service device of the UE-B Both the AS-B and the media gateway MG-C of the legacy terminal C play the CRBT media to the calling UE-A, and the UE-A requests the MG-C to prohibit the process of playing the CRBT media.
- the one-number service is composed of the called S-CSCF. (ie S-CSCF-B) is executed, the steps are as follows:
- the UE-A initiates a call request to the UE-B through the S-CSCF-B, for example, sends an INVITE message, and the message carries the normal media resource information of the UE-A, for example, carried in the message body, including the media type. , media port number and address information, and can inform the network UE-A to support early media, such as carrying the P-Early-Media field, the value is supported;
- Step 102 the UE-B is activated by the CRBT service, and after receiving the INVITE message, the S-CSCF-B forwards the message to the CRBT service device AS-B of the UE-B according to the Initial Filter Criteria (iFC).
- iFC Initial Filter Criteria
- Steps 103 to 104 the AS-B forwards the call request to the UE-B via the S-CSCF-B;
- Steps 105 to 106 UE-B receives a call request, and responds to a temporary response message, such as a "183 Session Progress" message, and the message is sent to the color ring tone AS-B via the S-CSCF-B;
- Steps 107 to 108 the CRBT AS-B forwards the temporary response message to the UE-A via the S-CSCF-B.
- Steps 109-110 the CRBT AS-B performs the CRBT service, allocates the CRBT media resource, and then uses the standard branch response technology.
- the calling media resource information is the color ring media resource information, for example, the P-Early-Media field carries a non-supported value, and the message is sent to the UE-A via the S-CSCF-B;
- the step 109 has no relationship with the step 103, and can be executed at the same time.
- Step 111 The AS-B plays the CRBT media information to the UE-A.
- This step has no relationship with step no and must be executed after step 109.
- Step 112 The S-CSCF-B performs the one-number service, and then initiates a call request to the traditional terminal C by using a standard branching technology, for example, sending an INVITE message, and carrying the obtained normal media resource information of the UE-A;
- This step 112 has no relationship with step 102 and can be performed simultaneously.
- Step 113 The MG-C includes the MGCF and the MGW. After receiving the call message, the traditional circuit C in the traditional network is called by the circuit switching standard process, and the traditional terminal C activates the CRBT service in the traditional network. The service service device decides to play the CRBT media information to the UE-A;
- Step 114 The MG-C responds to the temporary response message, for example, responding to "183 Session Progress", because the color ring media information needs to be sent to the calling party, and the MG-C sends a temporary response message to the calling party via the S-CSCF-B, in the temporary

- Step 115 the S-CSCF-B forwards the temporary response message to the UE-A;
- Step 116 The MG-C plays the CRBT media information to the calling UE-A.
- This step 116 has no relationship with step 115, but must be performed after step 114.
- Steps 117 ⁇ 118 UE-A wants to stop the color ring media playing of the traditional terminal C, and then requires the traditional network of the traditional terminal C to prohibit sending media, such as sending an UPDATE (update) message or a PRACK (pre-acknowledgment) message, carrying the UE-A
- the media resource information is carried in the message body, for example, the attribute of each media type is set to not allow the other party to send, for example, setting the attribute line a of each media type to sendonly (send only) or inactive (deactivate), the message is S- CSCF-B arrives at MG-C;
- Steps 119 ⁇ 120 MG-C receives early media indication message, stops sending media information, and agrees to prohibit sending media, such as responding to "200 OK" message, carrying MG-C media resources
- Step 121 The traditional terminal C answers the call, and the traditional network of the traditional terminal C stops the playing of the color ringing medium;
- Steps 122 to 123 the MG-C receives the response signaling of the legacy terminal C, and sends a response message to the UE-A, for example, sending a "200 OK" message. Since the normal media and the ring back tone media use the same media resource, the message is not Carrying the media resource information, the response message is sent to the UE-A via the S-CSCF-B; Steps 124-125, the UE-A receives the response message, and requires the legacy network of the legacy terminal C to allow the transmission of the media, for example, sending relNVITE (re-invitation)
- the message carries the media resource information of the UE-A, for example, is carried in the message body, where the attributes of each media type are set to allow the other party to send, for example, setting the attribute line a of each media type to sendrecv (send and receive) or recvonly, the message is S-CSCF-B arrives at MG-C;
- Steps 126 ⁇ 127 after receiving the re-invitation message, the MG-C agrees to send the media, for example, responding to the "200 OK" message, carrying the media resource information of the MG-C, for example, carrying in the message body, wherein the attributes of each media type Set to allow transmission, for example, set the a row value of each media type to sendrecv or sendonly, and send the message to UE-A via S-CSCF-B;
- Step 128 The UE-A and the legacy terminal C implement the call through the media transfer of the MG-C, and the session between the UE-A and the UE-B is terminated by the S-CSCF-B according to a standard procedure.
- the disadvantages of the prior art are: when the function entity that controls the early media transmission is prohibited from transmitting the color ring tone media, all media including the color ring tone and the normal media are prohibited, thereby affecting the session; and, after the user answers, there is It may be irrational to require renegotiation to allow interaction of media data to enable the call of the calling and called parties.
- the technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an implementation method for controlling early media playback. After the user answers, the call can be realized without renegotiating the media data.
- the present invention provides an implementation method for controlling early media playback. After receiving an early media indication message that does not carry media resource information and carries an early media identifier, the functional entity that controls early media transmission is The early media identification control media processing device continues or stops transmitting the early media information in the session to which the early media indication message belongs.
- the early media indication message is sent by the calling user or the application server.
- the early media identifier is carried by a P-Early-Media field in the message body, and the value of the P-Early-Media field is not "supported".
- P-Early-Media field value when the P-Early-Media field value is sendonly or inactive, it means that the sending of the early media information is prohibited; and when the P-Early-Media field value is sendrecv or recvonly, it is allowed to continue to send the early media information.
- the device After receiving the early media indication message that the P-Early-Media field value is sendonly or inactive, the device returns to agree to prohibit sending the early media information.
- the function entity that controls the early media transmission does not support the early media identifier
- the function entity supporting the early media identification in the path through which the early media indication message passes indicates that the function entity sent by the early media determines whether to control the media processing device to continue or stop transmitting the early media information according to the early media indication message.
- the function entity that controls the early media transmission is an application server, or a media gateway control function, or a proxy call session control function;
- the media processing device is a multimedia resource function processor, or a media gateway, or a media processing device of an IP bearer network.
- the implementation method for controlling early media playback of the present invention has the following advantages: When the function entity that controls the early media transmission is prohibited from transmitting the color ring tone media, only the early media information is prohibited, so that the normal media and The session has an impact; when the user answers, the call of the calling party and the called party can be realized without re-negotiating the interaction of the media data.

- Steps 422 ⁇ 424 the user wants to hear the CRBT of the traditional terminal C.
- the UE-A wants to continue the CRBT media playback of the legacy terminal C, so that the traditional network of the legacy terminal C is required to allow the early media to be sent, for example, sending an UPDATE (update) Message or PRACK (pre-acknowledgment) message, without any media resource information, and carrying an early media identifier, such as carrying a P-Early-Media field with a value of sendrecv or recvonly, the message is sent to the MG via the P-CSCF and the S-CSCF -C;
- UPDATE update
- PRACK pre-acknowledgment
- Steps 425 ⁇ 427 the MG-C receives the early media indication message, but the MG-C is the old device, does not support the message, and then ignores the message, still does not stop sending the early media data, and sends the response message according to the standard, such as responding "200 OK" message, does not carry any media resource information, the message is sent to the UE-A via the P-CSCF and the S-CSCF;
- Step 428 the P-CSCF can identify the message of step 422, and decide to perform the media control function, and continue to forward the early media information sent by the MG-C to the UE-A;
- Step 429 the traditional terminal C answers the call, and the traditional network of the traditional terminal C stops the playing of the color ringing medium;
- Steps 430 ⁇ 431 the MG-C receives the response signaling of the legacy terminal C, and sends a response message to
- UE-A for example, sends a "200 OK" message. Since the normal media and the ringback media use the same media resource, the message does not carry the media resource information, and the response message is sent to the P-CSCF via the S-CSCF; Step 432, P- The CSCF receives the response message, performs the media control function, and forwards the MG-C to send Media information for UE-A and media information sent by UE-A to MG-C;
- Step 433 The UE-A and the legacy terminal C implement the call through the media transfer of the MG-C, and the session between the UE-A and the legacy terminal B is terminated by the S-CSCF using a standard procedure.
- This embodiment embodies the P-CSCF as a functional entity for controlling early media transmission to implement control of early media playback.
- the method of the present invention can also be applied to the control of early media playback in a non-one-number service, and the method of the present invention is equally applicable to the color picture service in the early media service.
