以 GSM系统的异系统为 TD-SCDMA系统为例进行说明, TD-SCDMA可 以简称为 TD。 现有技术中, GSM 系统通过系统消息 SI2quater ( System
Information Type2 quater )在 BCCH ( Broadcasting Channel, 广播信道)上广 播 GSM小区的异系统邻小区信息, 即 TD小区信息。 SI2quater消息内容如表 1所示, 包括: L2 Pseudo Length (层 2虛拟长度)、 RR management Protocol Discriminator (无线资源管理协议鉴别器)、 Skip Indicator (跳位指示)、 System Information Type 2quater Message Type (系统信息类型 2quater消息类型 )、 SI 2 quater Rest Octets ( SI 2 quater剩余字节)五个表项, 其中表项 SI 2 quater Rest Octets中指示异系统邻小区信息。 GSM小区内的所有 UE都会收到该 SI2quater 消息。 GSM小区内的 UE包括 GSM终端(也可称为 2G终端)、支持 GSM-TD 双模的终端、 支持 GSM-WCDMA默模的终端, 等等。

图 6为实施例三中另一种通过 MSC Server通知异系统邻小区信息的方法 流程图。 具体实施方式
首先对现有技术中一旦 GSM小区配置了 TD小区信息,将会有部分 GSM 终端出现死机、 重启等异常现象的原因进行分析: 正常情况下, 由于 GSM终 端不具备异系统(例如 3G系统)接入能力,也不需要了解异系统的小区信息, 因此 GSM终端在收到 SI2quater消息后应当直接丢弃;而出现上述问题的 GSM 终端是在收到 SI2quater消息后试图对该消息进行解析, 但由于不能识别该消 息中的 TD小区信息, 导致解析失败进入程序死循环, 从而造成死机、 重启等 异常现象的产生。 可见, 出现该类异常现象的原因是部分 GSM终端芯片厂商 在开发芯片平台时没有考虑到如何处理 3G系统及其后续演进系统的信息。另 外, 现有移动通信系统中 UE (主要为 GSM终端 )数量巨大, 很难对 UE进 行改造、 控制和管理, 所以从终端侧解决该问题也很难实现。
基于此, 本发明实施例提供了一种通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的方 案, 用以解决现有机制下网络侧广播异系统邻小区信息时, 部分 GSM终端出 现死机、 重启等异常现象的问题。 该方案为: 仅向具备异系统接入能力的终 端,例如支持 GSM系统和 3G系统双模的用户终端,下发异系统邻小区信息。
本发明实施例中, GSM系统的异系统以 TD-SCDMA系统或 E-UTRAN 系统为例进行说明, 当然异系统也可以为 WCDMA系统、 CDMA2000系统、 WiMAX ( Worldwide Interoperability Microwave Access, 波接入全球互通 )
系统、 LTE系统、 UWB ( Ultra Wideband, 超宽带无线技术) 系统, 等等。 在 GSM系统中, 由于寻呼信道容量的限制, 对 UE的寻呼消息不可能整 网下发, 由此引入了位置区的概念, 一个位置区中包括若干个小区, 对 UE的 网络寻呼是通过对 UE所在位置区内所有小区的寻呼来实现的。 位置区是 UE 位置更新和网络寻呼的最小单位, 用 LAC ( Location Area Code, 位置区码) 标识不同的位置区, LAC通常在每个小区 BCCH信道上的系统消息中发送。
当 UE开机、插入 SIM ( Subscriber Identity Module,用户识别模块)卡时, 会通过 IMSI ( International Mobile Subscriber Identifier, 国际移动用户标识) 附着过程向网络通知其当前所在的位置区。随着 UE的移动, 当进入一个新的 位置区内时, 也会发起位置更新, 向网络通知其新的 LAC。 此外, 为了保持 UE和网络之间的密切联系, 让网络及时掌握 UE的位置信息, 可以要求 UE 每隔一段时间向网络发起周期性的位置更新; 网络会在每次位置更新时存储 用户终端当前的 LAC, 作为寻呼该 UE的位置信息。 当对一个位置区内的 UE 发起呼叫时, MSC Server ( Mobile Switching Center Server, 移动交换中心服 务器)就会通过 BSC ( Base Station Controller, 基站控制器)向对应位置区内 的所有小区发出寻呼请求,即会在该 UE所在的位置区内对所有 UE进行寻呼。
本发明实施例提供了一种通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的方法,如图 1 所示, 包括如下步骤:
5101、 判断 UE是否具备异系统接入能力;
例如根据所述 UE的能力信息来判断该 UE是否具备异系统接入能力; 通过在网络侧进行设置, 可以使 UE在 GSM小区内开机或位置更新后, 主动向 BSC上报本终端的能力信息, 能力信息具体指是否具备异系统接入能 力。
5102、 当判断结果为是时, 向该 UE发送异系统邻小区信息。
其中,异系统邻小区信息包括 UE所处位置区内各小区与各异系统邻小区 的对应关系, 和 /或各异系统邻小区的配置信息; 并且, 异系统邻小区信息通 常是通过非广播信道, 例如专用信道或者共享信道发送给 UE的。
至此, 具备异系统接入能力的双模终端根据异系统邻小区信息即可正常 开展异系统间的小区重选和切换, 而不具备异系统接入能力的 GSM终端, 由 于不会接收到异系统邻小区信息, 所以也不会产生死机、 重启等异常现象。 采用该方法, 即有效解决了现有机制下网络侧广播异系统邻小区信息时, 部 分用户终端出现死机、 重启等异常现象的问题, 有效提升了用户感受。
本发明实施例提供的通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的方法, 无需在终 端侧对现有大量的 GSM终端进行改造,对双模终端的改造主要是使双模终端 能够识别并存储从专用信道或者共享信道接收到的异系统邻小区信息, 并按 照该信息进行小区重选、 切换等互操作流程。
本发明实施例提供的方案主要依靠网络侧实现 , 一种在网络侧实现上述 方法的网络设备, 如图 2所示, 包括:
存储单元 201: 用于存储异系统邻小区信息;
发送单元 202: 用于在用户终端 UE具备异系统接入能力时, 向所述 UE 发送存储的异系统邻小区信息。
该网络设备还包括: 接收单元 203, 用于接收用户终端 UE的能力信息; 判断单元 204, 用于根据接收单元 203接收的 UE的能力信息, 判断所述 UE是否具备异系统接入能力;
当判断单元 204判断出所述 UE具备异系统接入能力时,通知所述发送单 元 202向所述 UE发送存储的异系统邻小区信息。
网络设备具体可以为 BSC或者 MSC Server, 下面针对不同场景, 以具体 实施例进行详细介绍。
实施例一
本实施例^殳同一个位置区内的所有 GSM小区在同一个 BSC控制范围 内。 一般情况下, GSM小区的覆盖区域均满足该条件, 如果不满足该条件, 则可以通过常规的位置区优化方式进行调整, 使 GSM 系统内位置区等同于 BSC控制范围。
本实施例中, BSC预先存储内郜各 GSM小区与各 TD邻小区的对应关系 ,
和 /或各 TD邻小区的配置信息。 如图 3所示, 通过 BSC通知用户终端异系统 邻小区信息的方法包括如下步骤:
S301、 UE在 GSM小区内开机或位置更新;
5302、 UE主动向 BSC上 4艮本终端的能力信息;
UE在 GSM小区内开机或位置更新后 , 通过发起 Classmark change消息 上报其能力信息, 能力信息具体是指 Classmark change消息中 Classmark 3选 项的内容, Classmark 3具体为: UMTS ( Universal Mobile Telecommunications System,通用移动通信系统) 1.28Mcps TDD Radio Access Technology Capability (时分双工无线接入技术能力)。 Classmark 3用于指示该终端是否支持 UMTS 1.28Mcps TDD,即是否具备异系统接入能力。当 Classmark 3的参数值为 1时, 表明支持 UMTS 1.28Mcps TDD, 参数值为 0时,表明不支持 UMTS 1.28Mcps TDD。可见,如果 UE为双模终端,则上报的 Classmark change消息中 Classmark 3的参数值为 1 , 如果 UE为 GSM终端, 则上报的 Classmark change消息中 Classmark 3的参数值为 0。
UE在开机或位置更新后总是发起 Classmark change消息可以通过网络侧 的设置信息实现,在 GSM小区下发的系统消息 SI 3 Rest Octets中,设置 Early Classmark Sending Control选项的参数为 H, 就可以控制 UE在开机或位置更 新后 , 总是发送 Classmark change消息。
5303、 BSC接收到 UE上报的能力信息, 判断该 UE是否支持 UMTS 1.28Mcps TDD, 即是否具备异系统接入能力, 如果否, 则执行 S304, 如果是, 则执行 S305;
5304、 BSC不采取任何动作, 本次流程结束;
5305、 BSC通过专用信道(例如 SDCCH信道)发送异系统邻小区信息 给所述 UE, 包括该 UE所处位置区内各 GSM小区与异系统邻小区的对应关 系, 和 /或各异系统邻小区的配置信息;
5306、 UE存储接收到的异系统邻小区信息, 本次流程结束。
具备异系统接入能力的 UE获得异系统邻小区信息后, 即可用于 idle态、
PS ( Packet Switch, 分组交换域) idle态、 PS连接态向 TD-SCDMA系统的重 选, 以及 CS ( Circuit Switch, 电路交换域)连接态向 TD-SCDMA系统的切 换。
选择位置区作为发送的异系统邻小区信息的单位(即发送的异系统邻小 区信息包括 UE所处位置区内各 GSM小区与异系统邻小区的对应关系, 和 / 或各异系统邻小区的配置信息), 是考虑到 UE在 Idle (空闲) 态时, 只有变 更位置区时才会进行位置更新,与网络进行联系, 即网络对 UE在 Idle态的位 置信息管理只能精确到位置区的級别。 因此, 以位置区作为发送的异系统邻 小区信息的单位可以保证 UE在一个位置区内移动时具有足够的异系统邻小 区信息可以使用。
一个位置区内各小区与各异系统邻小区的对应关系可以采用对应关系表 的方式给出。 以一个位置区内包括 12个 GSM小区为例进行说明,各 GSM小 区与各 TD邻小区的对应关系如图 4所示,可以通过专用信道发送图 4所示的 各小区与各异系统邻小区对应关系表; 当然, 除了图 4所示的对应关系表以 外, 还可以同时发送该对应关系表中出现的各 TD小区的配置信息。
实施例一中, 在网络侧, 无需对 MSC Server进行任何改动。 BSC则需要 存储该 BSC内部各 GSM小区与各 TD邻小区的对应关系, 和 /或各 TD邻小 区的配置信息; 当 BSC接收到 UE上报的 Classmark change消息时, 能够判 断 UE是否具备异系统接入能力 ,并仅对具备异系统接入能力的 UE发送异系 统邻小区信息。
实施例二
本实施例 ϋ殳同一个位置区内的所有 GSM小区在两个或两个以上 BSC 服务范围内。 在这种情况下, 需要 MSC Server预先存储内部各 GSM小区与 各 TD邻小区的对应关系, 和 /或各 TD邻小区的配置信息, 因为 MSC Server 会至少管理一个位置区。 这就需要 BSC预先将各 GSM小区的异系统邻小区 信息上报至 MSC Server, 再由 MSC Server进行存储。 如图 5所示, 一种通过 MSC Server通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的方法, 包括如下步骤:
5501、 UE在 GSM小区内开机或位置更新;
5502、 UE主动向 BSC上报本终端的能力信息;
UE在 GSM小区开机或位置更新后, 通过发起 Classmark change消息向 SC上报其能力信息;
S503、 BSC将 UE上报的能力信息传递给 MSC Server;
5504、 MSC Server接收到 UE的能力信息, 判断 UE是否支持 UMTS 1.28Mcps TDD, 即是否具备异系统接入能力, 如果否, 则执行 S505, 如果是, 则执行 S506;
5505、 MSC Server不采取任何动作, 本次流程结束;
5506、 MSC Server通过专用信道(例如 SDCCH信道)发送异系统邻小 区信息给该 UE, 包括 UE所处位置区内各 GSM小区与异系统邻小区的对应 关系, 和 /或各异系统邻小区的配置信息;
5507、 UE存储接收到的异系统邻小区信息, 本次流程结束。
实施例二中, BSC需要将 UE上报的能力信息发送给 MSC Server, MSC Server需要存储该 MSC Server内部各 GSM小区与各 TD邻小区的对应关系, 和 /或各 TD邻小区的配置信息;当 MSC Server接收到 UE的 Classmark change 消息时, 能够判断 UE是否具备异系统接入能力,并仅对具备异系统接入能力 的 UE, 发送异系统邻小区信息。
实施例三
本实施例提供另一种通过 MSC Server通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的 方法, 如图 6所示, 包括如下步骤:
5601、 UE在 GSM小区内开机或位置更新;
5602、 UE主动向 BSC上报本终端的能力信息;
UE在 GSM小区开机或位置更新后, 通过发起 Classmark change消息向 BSC上报其能力信息;
S603、 BSC接收到 UE的能力信息, 判断 UE是否支持 UMTS 1.28Mcps TDD, 即是否具备异系统接入能力, 并将判断结果上报 MSC Server;
5604、 MSC Server接收判断结果, 当判断结果为否时, 则执行 S605, 当 判断结果为是时, 则执行 S606;
5605、 MSC Server不采取任何动作, 本次流程结束;
5606、 MSC Server通过专用信道(例如 SDCCH信道)发送异系统邻小 区信息给该 UE, 包括 UE所处位置区内各 GSM小区与异系统邻小区的对应 关系, 和 /或各异系统邻小区的配置信息;
5607、 UE存储接收到的异系统邻小区信息, 本次流程结束。
实施例三中, BSC需要根据 UE上报的能力信息判断 UE是否具备异系统 接入能力, 并将判断结果发送给 MSC Server, MSC Server需要存储该 MSC Server内部各 GSM小区与各 TD邻小区的对应关系, 和 /或各 TD邻小区的配 置信息, 当 MSC Server接收到的判断结杲为是时, 对该 UE发送异系统邻小 区信息。
本发明实施例同时提供一种通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的通信系 统, 包括第一网络设备和第二网络设备, 第一网络设备可以为 BSC, 第二网 络设备可以为 MSC Server, 其中:
第一网络设备用于接收 UE上报的能力信息,并将能力信息传递给第二网 络设备;
其中, UE可以根据网络设置信息上报其能力信息。
第二网络设备用于接收 UE的能力信息,根据能力信息判断 UE是否具备 异系统接入能力, 当判断结果为是时,向所述 UE发送存储的异系统邻小区信 息。 或者,
第一网络设备用于接收 UE上报的能力信息,根据所述能力信息判断所述 UE是否具备异系统接入能力, 并将判断结果上报给第二网络设备;
其中, UE可以根据网络设置信息上报其能力信息。
第二网络设备用于接收判断结果, 当判断结果为是时, 向所述 UE发送存 储的异系统邻小区信息。
当然, 本发明实施例中的 TD-GSM双模终端除了具备能够根据网络侧的
设置信息, 在开机或位置更新后, 总是发送携带 Classmark 3 的 Classmark change 消息, 指示本终端的能力信息之外, 还可以识别并存储网络侧通过非 广播信道发送给本设备的异系统邻小区信息, 并按照异系统邻小区信息进行 异系统间的小区重选、 切换等互操作过程。
本发明实施例提供的通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的方法、 网路设备 及通信系统仅向双模终端发送异系统邻小区信息,从而有效避免了 GSM终端 接收到异系统邻小区信息时, 可能出现的死机、 重启等异常现象, 提升了用 户感受。 发明的精神和范围。 例如, UE可以利用 Classmark change消息之外的其他消 息来发送能力信息。 这样, 倘若本发明的这些修改和变型属于本发明权利要 求及其等同技术的范围之内, 则本发明也意图包含这些改动和变型在内。
Claims
1、 一种通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的方法, 其特征在于, 包括: 在用户终端 UE具备异系统接入能力时,向所述 UE发送异系统邻小区信
2、如权利要求 1所述的方法,其特征在于, 所述异系统邻小区信息包括: 所述 UE所处位置区内各小区与各异系统邻小区的对应关系; 和 /或 各异系统邻小区的配置信息。
3、 如权利要求 1或 2所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述异系统邻小区信息 是通过专用信道或者共享信道向所述 UE发送的。
4、 如权利要求 1或 2所述的方法, 其特征在于, 还包括根据所述 UE的 能力信息来判断所述 UE是否具备异系统接入能力。
5、 如权利要求 4所述的方法, 其特征在于, 根据所述 UE的能力信息来 判断所述 UE是否具备异系统接入能力包括:
第一网络设备接收所述 UE 的能力信息, 并根据所述能力信息判断所述 UE是否具备异系统接入能力; 或
第一网络设备接收所述 UE的能力信息,并将所述能力信息传递给第二网 络设备,所述第二网络设备根据所述能力信息判断所述 UE是否具备异系统接 入能力。
6、 如权利要求 5所述的方法, 其特征在于, 所述第一网络设备为基站控 制器 BSC, 所述第二网络设备为移动交换中心服务器 MSC Server。
7、 如权利要求 1或 2所述的方法, 其特征在于, 当所述 UE具备异系统 接入能力时, 基站控制器 BSC或移动交换中心服务器 MSC Server向所述 UE 发送异系统邻小区信息。
8、 一种网络设备, 其特征在于, 包括:
存储单元: 用于存储异系统邻小区信息;
发送单元: 用于在用户终端 UE具备异系统接入能力时, 向所述 UE发送
存储的异系统邻小区信息。
9、 如权利要求 8所述的网络设备, 其特征在于, 还包括:
接收单元, 用于接收用户终端 UE的能力信息;
判断单元, 用于根据接收单元接收的 UE的能力信息, 判断所述 UE是否 具备异系统接入能力;
当判断单元判断出所述 UE具备异系统接入能力时,通知所述发送单元向 所述 UE发送存储的异系统邻小区信息。
10、 一种通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的通信系统, 其特征在于, 包 括第一网络设备和第二网络设备, 其中:
所述第一网络设备用于接收用户终端 UE上报的能力信息,并将所述能力 信息传递给所述第二网络设备;
所述第二网络设备用于接收所述 UE的能力信息,根据所述能力信息判断 所述 UE是否具备异系统接入能力, 当判断结果为是时, 向所述 UE发送存储 的异系统邻小区信息。
11、 如权利要求 10所述的通信系统, 其特征在于, 所述第一网络设备为 基站控制器 BSC, 所述第二网络设备为移动交换中心服务器 MSC Server。
12、 一种通知用户终端异系统邻小区信息的通信系统, 其特征在于, 包 括第一网络设备和第二网络设备, 其中:
所述第一网络设备用于接收用户终端 UE上报的能力信息,根据所述能力 信息判断所述 UE是否具备异系统接入能力,并将判断结果上报给所述第二网 络设备;
所述第二网络设备用于接收所述判断结果, 当判断结果为是时, 向所述 UE发送存储的异系统邻小区信息。
13、 如权利要求 12所述的通信系统, 其特征在于, 所述第一网络设备为 基站控制器 BSC, 所述第二网络设备为动交换中心服务器 MSC Server。
