Abstract

L'invention concerne une conduite flexible sous-marine, ladite conduite flexible comprenant, une gaine d'étanchéité interne (18), au moins une nappe d'armures de traction (14,16) enroulée autour de ladite gaine d'étanchéité interne, une couche de maintien (12) comprenant au moins un ruban de renfort (34), ledit ruban de renfort comportant des mèches filamentaires (36) orientées sensiblement longitudinalement, lesdites mèches filamentaires (36) comprenant des fibres de polymère (38); selon l'invention lesdites fibres de polymère présentent à température ambiante un module d'élasticité supérieur à 55 GPa de façon que ledit ruban de renfort soit adapté à bloquer l'expansion radiale de ladite nappe d'armures, lorsque ladite nappe d'armures subit des efforts radiaux; et lesdites fibres de polymère présentent en outre une extension à la rupture supérieure à 4% de manière à ce que ledit ruban de renfort soit adapté à subir des déformations sans se rompre.
