Abstract

Bicyclette comprenant un cadre recevant une roue avant et une roue arrière; un arbre de pédalier monté rotatif dans le cadre; une paire de pédales faisant tourner l'arbre; un essieu arrière monté rotatif dans le cadre, solidaire de la roue arrière; et une paire de dispositifs de transmission comprenant chacun un plateau d'entraînement monté sur l'arbre de pédalier, un pignon asservi monté sur l'essieu arrière et une chaîne reliant le plateau d'entraînement et le pignon asservi. Comme elle comprend un double dispositif de transmission pour la transmission de la puissance via les pédales, la bicyclette de l'invention peut fonctionner sur un seul de ces dispositifs en cas de défaillance de l'autre dispositif de transmission.
