Abstract

The present invention relates to a benzofluoranthene derivative and to an organic electroluminescent element employing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a benzofluoranthene derivative comprising one or more substituent groups selected from the benzimidazole group, the benzothiazole group and the benzoxazole group, which are substituent groups having an electron-transfer ability. The present invention also relates to an organic luminescent element comprising an organic layer containing this benzofluoranthene derivative.
