Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un iodure de fluoroalkyle capable d'assurer une haute sélectivité pour un iodure de fluoroalkyle (télomère), présentant un degré de polymérisation souhaité et, en même temps, procurant une productivité élevée. Dans l'addition d'un composé représenté par la formule (2) à un composé représenté par la formule (1) en présence d'un amorceur radicalaire pour donner un composé représenté par la formule (3), on utilise un composé représenté par la formule (4) comme amorceur radicalaire. RfI (1), CF2 = CF2 (2), RfCF2CF2I (3), et F(CF2)xCOO2 (4) où Rf représente un groupe fluoroalkyle comportant de 12 à 16 atomes de carbone (nombre pair) ; et x représente un nombre pair compris entre 2 et 14.
