Abstract

　高いレベルで乗り心地と操縦安定性を兼ね備えたタイヤの提供にある。 　サイドウォール６の内側であってカーカス１０の内周側に位置させられた補強層２０を備えている。カーカス１０は、ラジアル構造を有している。ビード８は、コア２６と、コア２６から半径方向外向きに延びるエイペックス２８とを備えている。このコア２６の断面積Ｓｃに対するエイペックス２８の断面積Ｓａの比（Ｓａ／Ｓｃ）は、０．５以上１．５以下である。補強層２０の硬度は、８５以上９５以下である。補強層２０の厚さは、１ｍｍ以上４ｍｍ以下である。タイヤ２の高さＨｔに対する補強層２０の高さＨ１の比（Ｈ１／Ｈｔ）は、０．５以上０．８以下である。好ましくは、このタイヤ２の上記補強層２０の厚みは２ｍｍ以上である。好ましくは、この補強層２０の半径方向内側の端からビードトウ先端までの半径方向距離は１０ｍｍ以上である。
