Abstract

An authenticating communication device (310) which constitutes a network constructed by connecting communication devices with one another. A transmission and reception part (311) receives identification information on a communication device which is holding authentication information for authenticating a communication device (320) to be authenticated, from the communication device (320) which is not connected with the authenticating communication device (310). An acquisition part (312) acquires the authentication information from the communication device corresponding to the identification information received by the transmission and reception part (311). An authentication processing part (316) authenticates the communication device (320) using the authentication information acquired by the acquisition part (312). When the communication device (320) is authenticated by the authentication processing part (316), the communication part (317) communicates with the authenticated communication device (320).
