Abstract

Disclosed is a coating composition having good storage stability and excellent film-forming properties. Specifically disclosed is a coating composition characterized by containing a melt-processable fluororesin (a), a nonionic surfactant (b) and a water-soluble polyhydric alcohol (c) having a boiling point not lower than 100˚C and containing two or more hydroxy groups. This coating composition is also characterized in that a fluorine-containing surfactant (d) is contained in an amount of less than 500 ppm relative to the mass of the solid content of the fluororesin (a).
