Abstract

 光信号を波長分割多重方式で伝送する光伝送システムを構成する中継装置は、ソースから宛先に至る経路の中で先行する中継装置からの光信号を少なくとも受信する受信手段と、受信手段で受信した信号中のチャネル各々について、ビットレート及び変調方式を判定し、該受信した信号についてのチャネル配置を調べる手段と、チャネル配置及び所定の判断基準に基づいて、当該中継装置から送信される光信号に含まれるべきでない禁止チャネルを検出する手段とを有する。
