Abstract

A bearing for wheel having an inner ring, an outer ring, rolling elements arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring, and a pulsar ring attached to the outer circumferential edge at the end of the outer ring, wherein the pulsar ring is composed of a core metal made of a steel sheet consisting of a side surface part having a central hole and of a press-fit part with an outer periphery of the side surface part folded axially inward, the press-fit part being press-fitted to the outer circumferential surface of the outer ring; and a magnetized rubber consisted of a side surface part having a central hole and of an annular part with a circumferential side of the side surface part being folded axially inward, and including a pulsar part formed on the outer circumferential surface of the annular part and the surface of the side surface part to cover the outer surface of the core metal, including sealing means for sealing the axial opposite ends of the outer ring and the core metal when the pulsar ring is press fitted to the outer circumferential surface of the outer ring.
