Abstract

 光変調器へ入力するバイアス光を高速にOn/Off制御することが可能な光送信器を提供することを目的とする。高速電流切替回路3により、LD On/Off信号に応じて、LD2の駆動電流を高速にOn/Off制御することで、LD2の光出力を高速にOn/Off制御する。また、温度検出電流発生回路4は、LD2の光出力が周囲温度に依存して変化しないように、周囲温度を検出し、この検出された周囲温度に応じて調整された駆動電流を生成する。
