Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de l'arsenic contenu dans des produits intermédiaires de fusion non ferreux, en particulier un procédé de traitement de l'arsenic sous sa forme de trioxyde de diarsenic, lequel satisfait aux normes de lixiviation (conformément à la notice n° 13 de l'agence pour l'environnement), est excellent en termes de performances de filtration et de formation facile de scorodite stable avec une reproductibilité élevée sans aucune opération lourde. L'invention concerne précisément un procédé de traitement du trioxyde de diarsenic, comprenant une étape de lixiviation consistant à ajouter de l'eau et un alcali à un produit intermédiaire de fusion non ferreux contenant du trioxyde d'arsenic pour obtenir de cette manière une suspension épaisse et chauffer la suspension épaisse pour lixivier de cette manière l'arsenic ; une étape d'ajustement du liquide consistant à ajouter un agent oxydant au lixiviat de façon à oxyder l'arsenic trivalent en arsenic pentavalent, ce par quoi on obtient un liquide ajusté ; et une étape de cristallisation consistant à convertir l'arsenic du liquide ajusté en cristaux de scorodite.
