Abstract

An entry assist system for documents having a plurality of entry items each of which can be uniquely identified by an identifier comprises a candidate text database (25) that stores candidate entry texts for entry items; a correspondence table (26) that records data in which the identifiers of entry items are associated with search conditions of candidate entry texts for the entry items; a search condition switching part (23) that acquires the identifier of an entry item and further acquires, based on the acquired identifier, the search condition of candidate entry text for the entry item from the correspondence table; a keyword selecting part (12) that accepts a selection of search keywords by a user; a keyword storing part (13) that stores search keywords; a search executing part (24) that searching the candidate text database in accordance with the search condition and search keywords; and a candidate selecting part (14) that presents, to the user, candidate entry texts obtained as a search result by the search executing part and inserts a candidate entry text selected by the user into the entry item.
