Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système (20) qui peut être utilisé pour extruder des matériaux métalliques sous forme d'une billette afin d'obtenir un objet allongé. Le système (20) comprend une presse à filer (22) comprenant une plaque d'appui fixe (1) traversée par une ouverture (12) et une plaque d'appui mobile (2) traversée par une ouverture (7) et à laquelle est fixée une partie corps (4) ayant une ouverture traversante (5) et un axe central (8) qui coïncide avec l'axe central de l'ouverture traversante (7) de la plaque d'appui mobile (2). Le système (20) comprend également un moyen formant contenant (10) conçu pour retenir la billette pendant l'extrusion et un moyen de filière (11). Le moyen de filière (11) et le moyen formant contenant (10) sont disposés à l'avant de l'ouverture traversante (12) de la plaque d'appui fixe (1). Le système (20) comprend également un moyen pouvant être mis en oeuvre pour introduire un mandrin (18) dans la partie corps (4) par l'arrière (9) de la plaque d'appui mobile (2) par le biais de l'ouverture traversante (7) de la plaque d'appui mobile (2) avant l'extrusion, et qui, après l'extrusion peut être mis en oeuvre pour retirer le mandrin (16) dans l'autre sens.
