Abstract

 充放電にともなう容量劣化を抑制し、充放電を繰り返し行った後においても高い容量を発揮することができる水系リチウム二次電池を提供すること。正極2と、負極3と、これらの間に狭装されたセパレータ4と、リチウム塩からなる電解質を水系溶媒に溶解してなる水溶液電解液とを備える水系リチウム二次電池である。水系溶媒としては、pHの緩衝液が採用されている。緩衝液は、酸とその共役塩基の塩、塩基とその共役酸の塩、弱酸と強塩基からなる塩、弱塩基と強酸とからなる塩、又は弱酸と弱塩基からなる塩を水に溶解してなることが好ましい。
